Tom Gallo joined Knight Aerospace as Chief Revenue Officer in 2021, bringing a 30+ year track record of measurable success in global strategic sales and sales leadership. He has proven himself to be a creative, innovative, and inspiring sales executive consistently delivering revenue that far exceeds all growth expectations.
Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and served eight years in the U.S Navy as a P3 Orion Anti-Submarine Warfare pilot, mission commander, squadron flight ops officer, and P3 Replacement Air Group instructor pilot.
As international sales director for the Hercules Flight Training Center in Marietta, Georgia, Tom developed and marketed custom C-130 training programs and services for military organizations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and North America.
Along his journey, Tom has been a key executive member of numerous successful technology start-up teams including roles as Vice President of Sales for Performance Technology in San Antonio, Texas, which was acquired by Bay Networks; Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Elastic Networks in Atlanta, Georgia, which successfully executed a $100 million IPO in 2000; Vice President of Global Sales at Sphere Communications in Deerfield, Illinois, which was acquired by NEC Corp; and VP Global Sales for AllClear ID in Austin, Texas, where he recruited, trained, and deployed a data breach response direct sales team and global business partners, driving annual recurring revenue far beyond expectations which positioned AllClear ID for a successful acquisition by Experian PLC in 2019.
