For example, one of our newest products is a type of Aeromedical Bio-Containment Evacuation System (ABES), the Aeromedical Bio-containment Module (ABCM). It allows for isolated medical transport units to be installed into a cargo aircraft in 45 minutes. Especially during the era of pandemics, demand in the market has proven the value of our products and now we are looking to scale up. Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for keeping track of the Company’s financial plan. This includes analyzing the Company’s performance, alongside changes and market trends, not only helps create the forecast, but also calculates variances between forecasts and actuals. Also includes forecasting future revenues and expenditures, as well as modeling capital structure and budgeting. The Financial Analyst will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded by performing the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  2. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  3. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  4. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  5. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  6. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  7. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  8. Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
  9. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
  10. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  11. Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  12. Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  13. Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  14. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5+ years experience of business finance or other relevant experience.
  2. 2+ years Demonstrated experience with strong financial modeling.
  3. Bachelor’s degree preferred (Preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business).
  4. Demonstrated work experience in quantitatively -heavy role.
  5. Strong Quantitative and analytical competency.
  6. Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel.
  7. Experience working, and presenting to, leadership.
